I recently decided the whole "make gold" thing is awesome...but I can't seem to wrap my head around what makes a good deal and what doesn't. After trying my hand at a few auctions I decided to do the zygor guides for leveling and rep and everything that's included (pretty cool so far...but if there's a free option I'd like to have that). Well they have a goldmaking guide. It updates data like TSM and tells you what is supposed to be the best deals to farm or whatever...well the best deal it was telling me was 8800 volatile fires. It was supposed to be an amazing deal but come on....8800 volatile fires?
Now he's closing his project yet again. Leaving us all in the dark. Thanks to the few that have to "big men" in the torrent scene. I just hope that someone else comes along that knows what Whoknowsit does and is willing to put up with the egos and the BS in the scene to share the guides we all enjoy. Because all I've seen so far are a bunch of people stealing Whoknowsit's research and the donators' wishes to keep it in THIS scene and safe for THIS SCENE, who don't know what they are doing.
One fairly common issue people have is that older addons they install do not load when they log into the game. This is usually due to the fact that World of Warcraft tags older addons as out of date and aren't automatically loaded unless you tell the game to. This typically happens after a patch, as the game client tends to mark addons as out of date at that point.
To make it easier to level professions to 800, most recipes will stay orange for 20 more points. This is a huge change! For example, the blacksmithing 780-800 part needed around 120 Demonsteel Bar and 60 Blood of Sargeras at minimum to craft 30 Waistguard. (you probably needed to craft 50 if you were unlucky). But now you will only need 20 Demonsteel Bar and 10 Blood of Sargeras to craft 5 of them.

You can tell the gold guide users on the AH though. When you are posting things up, if you are the only one and you put it up for say 1000g. Next time you go to post it might tell you to put it up for 1050g, then 1100g. Then 1200g. etc, ad naseum. It doesn't stay the stay it keeps adding the price till it is WAY out of whack with anything reasonable. Still it's pretty good for posting up stuff so long as you know the price already.

Zygor Guides is an in-game software strategy guide for World of Warcraft. Every guide comes complete with the Guide Viewer, which displays step by step instructions of what quests to accept, how to complete objectives, when to use items, and more. Our gorgeous waypoint arrow will point you exactly where to go at all times and the model viewer will display fully rendered 3D models of NPCs and objects mentioned in the guide.

I wouldn't buy Zygor guides. As a player since path 1.10 (around 7 years now) Ive seen a hearty wow community flourish through each expansion. I am a huge fan of the add on, Carbonite quest. It provides a pumped up version of wow's internal quest database. Also, its recommended to research your servers economy for making gold. http://www.powerwordgold.net/ is a great site for tricks of making gold. Pair it up with http://www.theunderminejournal.com and you'll be on your way to making fast gold to provide for all them alts :P
I dont know why i havent posted this earlier but i have been using Zygor for more then 2 years now and i simply love it! Worth every penny i paid for it. Speeds up leveling process and makes it pain free. And when your max level fun is not over and Zygor will help you every step of the way whether its Reputation grind, daily quests or achievements its brilliant.
AddOns (sometimes called addons, add-ons, or mods) are collections of Lua/XML code that augment, modify, or replace World of Warcraft's default user interface. Addons vary greatly in scope and size — they may display information not presented at all by the default UI, add functionality to the default UI (e.g. additional buttons you can press to do things), modify the default UI's appearance (e.g. by changing colors or positions of UI elements) without changing its functionality, or even replace the default UI entirely.
